  • 1. In-House Part Modeling

    Professional grade documentation and parameters start production on the right foot. Examples include ply cutting nesting programs, lamination manuals for the shop floor, internal lab records for each unit produced, etc.

  • 2. CNC Ply and Core Cutting

    Our milling centers and Gerber Ply Cutter deliver consistent and precise input to the mold room floor. Clearly defined processing of raw materials keeps wastage low, quality high, and schedules on track.

3. Elite Level, Labor-Efficient Infusion

Our mold room operates using a variety of chemicals, primarily within the vinylester family, which quickly produce high-strength, lightweight parts with a gleaming, polished, in-mold coating finish. The protracted development of our manifolding, accumulation, power, and sensor systems has elevated our infusion procedure to new heights in both quality and time efficiency.

  • 4. Integrated Secondary Machining

    Traditionally, trimming and detailing is a hand process in composites. This is slow, unreliable and expensive. We've bypassed it by passing our molded parts back through customized CNC machines to standardize this process and allow for previously unachievable shapes.

  • 5. Large Format Tooling and Re-Tooling Capacity

    Our 5 axis machine boasts an astonishing 24’x10’x4’ envelope. This equipment empowers us to cut large format plugs for a wide variety of projects. Re-registering plugs to enable modification of tools on the fly is a core goal for the process going forward.Vertically integrating the tooling and production stages of composites manufacturing allows for unmatched adaptability.

6. Bespoke Chemical Formulation

We work closely with national and multinational resin labs to customize resin and finish systems in line with the needs of our clients. Fulcrum has developed several bespoke formulas that have netted gains in processing time, part quality, and total cost. From military-spec, flame-retardant vinylester to thin-film, high pigment polyester gelcoat that cures to 3/1000 of an inch; Fulcrum will find the right ingredient for the job.
